Lakme 3 in 1 Aqua Shine Lip Color Review

Today i'm going to do a review on Lakme 3 in 1 Aqua Shine Lip Color. Lakme has relaunched this  product with a new black packaging.

Lakme Claims: 

Glide color onto your lips like velvet. The super soft applicator gives your lips a shape like never before. Leaving you with the perfect smile. Its a lipstick, Lip Balm and a Lip Gloss all in one.

Remove cap. Twist body of pen until the lip color is seen at the tip of the nib. Apply on lips for a smooth glossy finish.

Price : Rs. 450 /-

Shell Life : 2 Years

It is also available for Rs. 375 in some of the online shopping sites.

My view on the product :

 

I had the shade orchid with the old packaging before. I loved that color so i got a new one in the same shade. It has a cute packaging and you can easily carry it in a bag along with you. They come with a sponge applicator; you have to twist it to get the product out.

The lip color feels very smooth on the lips and they are not sticky. It is velvety and has a glossy finish. It is moisturizing compared to the previous launch. Very hydrating and doesn't dry out my lips. For people who have dry lips, this will be perfect.Lip color stays for almost 4 hours.

It does wear off if you have a meal or something. It has a fruity smell; some people may not like it. Lakme users will be well accustomed to this smell because all the Lakme products have a fruity smell.Product is good but a little pricy for 2.55ml.


Shade orchid:

Orchid is a light plum shade. They have tiny glitters with a dark color pay off. It has a lavender undertone, which is barely visible. It is a lovely shade, which will suit all skin tones. Suitable for both day and night look.

Shade Fig:

As the name says, it has a brown tone to it. A shade lighter compared to the fig fruit. It does have very little sparkles but it is not visible when applied. Fig is a beautiful color for fair toned people. It gives a velvety finish.

Pros:

• Easy application, suitable for full coverage
• Non-sticky.
• Glossy finish.
• Moisturizing.
• Stays for good 4 hours.
• Fruity smell (Some may not like it).
• Many shades are available to choose from

Cons:

• Pricy for 2.55 ml.
• Opaque packaging ,hence difficult to find the product remaining in the pen.

Final verdict :

I love this product. It glides on my lips and gives a glossy finish. My favorite shade is orchid.It a pretty plum shade with tiny sparkles and light sheen Orchid compliments all the skin tones. Fig is also a great color with brown tone it compliments my skin color. I will definitely repurchase Lakme Aqua Shine Lip color.
